Our Story
Universal Resources International Limited (URI) was incorporated in Kenya in 2010 with a clear mandate: to develop the country’s significant mineral resources through structured, compliance-led, and community-integrated operations.
Operating in Taita Taveta County, we hold a 25-year mining license (ML/0046/2018) covering 1.88km² of proven manganese reserves, alongside five prospecting licenses covering 350km² — including gold exploration licenses in Trans Mara Sub-county, Narok County.
Strategically located 167km from Mombasa port, our operations are positioned for consistent, scalable export to international steel, battery, and agriculture markets.
